shout,

bark an empty,

gruff out baffle.


The immediate slash, and then I


the gap, the reply, the thunder and resonance, and then I

the empty sky, the crushed void, crashing together


the uncoiled silence behind all

the chatter of rustle

and steps.


Enlightened, and then I
